Selective Rack The most common storage rack Used where access to 100% of pallets stored at all times. The least amount of density, but the greatest amount of selectivity, and access to individual pallet sku's
Drive-In  Used primarily in the grocery industry, one of the most common high density storage techniques, used where few number of sku's exist,  with high quantities of each individual sku. Used where large quantities of a sku must be stored, but not bulk stacked.
Push Back High density storage with a high degree of selectivity, variable number of sku's, with 2-6 pallets of the same sku to store. Often criticized as last in first out. Product must be rotated if time sensitive. Used in warehousing, distribution, and  manufacturing. Very effectively, and efficient storage.
Pallet Flow High Density Storage at its best. Can be tailored for large number of sku's and variable quantities of individual sku's. Laned storage is First in - First Out. Ideal for the Food Industry, shipping and staging areas, Work in Process Storage.
Mobile Aisle Rack Used in limited space areas with lower Volume Picks, and Very High Density Storage Requirements. Best when planned with new construction in Applications such as Cold Storage Facilities
Rack Supported Building Reduces the overall cost of construction using the Rack Structure as the support for the Building. Used in special applications where use of facility is limited to racking only.
Picking Rack Individual sku's may be picked at flow level with overstock materials stored above. Highly efficient for case pick or less than case pick with efficient stock storage above.
Carton Flow Specialized Storage Rack designed for primarily individual case pick or individual sku pick. Highly efficient when used in tandem with 80/20 rule quick pick zones.
Cantilever Ideal for storage of long, heavy items, which are stored on there side, such as lumber and plywood, steel, mouldings, conduit, large hydraulic cylinders.
Carpet Rack Used to store rolls of carpets from standard lengths of 12'-0" up to 15'-0" long.   Standard rolls and Jumbo's.
